A recent survey pointed out that working women feel more secure about the future as they can take care of their financial stability but admitted that from the emotional point of view, thinking about future is a bit scary. The survey also highlighted that the couples in a live-in relationship feel depressed whenever they think about the future and the percentage of women who feel depression is understandably more than that of men.
The problem with almost every live-in relationship is mainly the reluctance of the partner to get marry as he/she may feel that the one is compelling him/her which is not good for their present relationship. A woman has a fear that her man is not ready to get marry, on the other hand, a man feels that her partner is happy in such a relationship, so what’s the need to get marry! The same rule applies vice a versa but the percentage is not as high as it is the other way around. 95% of the men who are in a live-in relationship feel that live-in gives them an opportunity to build up a strong foundation for the future but blamed that the opposite sex for lacking the patience and feel comparatively more insecure about the future.
70% of the women in live-in believed that there should be more sense of responsibility in men towards this relationship. This highlights the fact that even in a live-in relationship women believe that they are the one who play an important role in the smooth sailing of their RelationShip and preventing it from sinking. 34% of the men in live-in admitted that they just don’t want to think about what’s in store for their relationship in future as it drives them towards smoking and drinking when the stress becomes unbearable. The survey also highlighted that about 65% of the couples in a live-in relationship think that marriage becomes important in case of the pregnancy and in that case they will or have to marry. However, 22% of the couples among them voiced their opinion that marriage is a fake term and the key of the future of their live-in relationship is in their own hands. All we can say is Amen!
